The scoop on: Thunderstruck
Updated
Don’t be disappointed when you’re not welcomed by the unmistakable guitar riff that accompanies AC/DC’s famous hit. Instead emerge yourself in the depths of ancient Norse mythology with the Thunderstruck Slot Machine.
This 5 reel game takes you back to ancient Scandinavia during the time of Viking raiding parties, beautiful blonde wenches and most important of all, gallons of mead, the honey infused drink fit for a god.
May Odin father’s all seeing eye watch over you and grant you favour in your pursuit of untold riches.
What’s hot about: Thunderstruck
Graphics you will go wild for!
The cartoonist art style utilized in this game may pale in comparison to some more modern games but the bright colours and easily recognizable renditions of the Norse icons make this game a treat to see in action. Be on the lookout for Thor, his mighty hammer, the castle of Valhalla, mead filled horns and thunderstorms aplenty, line them up and receive incredible bonuses.

Bets
With bets ranging from 0.01 to 1 coins, you don’t need to play with fortunes to be lucky. Select your active lines before playing since symbols combined on inactive lines will not constitute a payout. If your offering is deemed worthy, you will be handsomely rewarded. The numbered symbols will return a lowly 100 to 125 coins while Valhalla’s castle returns 400 and Thor’s fist and hammer increase this number to 750.
With 9 lines available for activation to line up symbols and win you should have ample opportunity to fill your pockets. Find Thor among your symbols however and you’ll receive a 2x multiplier while the god of thunder substitutes any other symbol to create a winning line. Thor works in combination of any of the symbols apart from the stubborn Scatter Rams.
Special Scatter
While hard-headed, the Rams however have their own advantages. When three or more of them appear then you’ll automatically receive 15 free spins and any payouts during these free spins will be tripled. Should the rams make another appearance during your free spins then 15 additional spins will be added. Should you be fortunate enough to receive 5 rams anywhere on the screen during a spin then your winnings will be multiplied by up to 500. It’s unusual for the mighty Thor to be outdone by the creatures pulling his chariot, he must have been filled with mead when this arrangement was made.
How to trigger a Jackpot
While a single Thor symbol might not be as potent as a ram, receiving 4 Thor symbols will trigger a jackpot payout of 2 000 coins while 5 Thor symbols will constitute a mega jackpot of 10 000 coins ensuring the god of thunder reigns supreme in this storm based game.
Our Take
Thunderstruck Online Slot Machine might not have the most appealing graphics but multiple winning symbols and several possibilities for bonus rolls and winnings make it a highly addictive Microgaming slot game. If you are fascinated by ancient mythologies, then this Viking inspired game will keep you glued to your screen while you pursue ultimate payouts.
