Here is what casinoranks.org does with personal data, in its English and French sections alike, why it does so and which choices you keep.
Data controller
Responsibility for processing lies with Windwardly Media Group B.V., Schottegatweg Oost 28, Willemstad, Curaçao. Send any data request to [email protected].
Data that reaches us
- Server logs. Each page view hands our server an IP address, the requested URL, a browser string and a timestamp. We rely on these logs to serve pages, keep attackers out and trace faults.
- Your emails. A message to our inbox stays there, together with the sender address, while we answer it and for a sensible period afterwards so that a later reply still makes sense.
- Outbound casino clicks. Our /go/ redirect logs that a click took place, so partners can attribute commissions to Casino Ranks. Registrations, deposits and everything else inside a casino account stay invisible to us.
Casino Ranks has no mailing list, login or comment section, which means no reader profile exists on our side. Personal data is never sold.
Cookies we set
Only first-party cookies are used, and there are four:
- mz_vid (lifetime 12 months) — a random number for counting returning visitors;
- mz_src (lifetime 30 days) — remembers which channel referred you;
- mozbiz_session, XSRF-TOKEN (lifetime roughly 20 hours) — placed by the /go/ casino redirect alone, to run that redirect and shield it from forged requests.
The pages load neither Google Analytics nor advertising pixels or social-network trackers. Your browser can wipe or refuse these cookies whenever you choose, and every article still opens without them.
Processors
Traffic passes through Cloudflare, which handles connection data for security and speed; the hosting company keeps the logs. Each works under our instructions, and part of the processing may happen outside Canada.
Casino websites
After you click through, the casino's privacy terms take over. Whatever you hand an operator during sign-up or payment does not flow back to Casino Ranks.
Choices and requests
Ask us for a copy of anything stored about you, for corrections or for deletion, and withdraw consent where processing depends on it. Email [email protected]; to protect you, we may first check that a request really comes from you.
In Canada, unresolved concerns can be raised with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; Québec residents may turn to the Commission d'accès à l'information.
Under-age readers
Casino Ranks addresses adults who have reached gambling age in their province — 19, with 18 applying in Alberta, Manitoba and Québec — and does not intentionally gather information about minors.

Whenever we revise this notice, the Updated line beneath the heading moves to the day of the revision.
