Nobody pays to read Casino Ranks. The bills are covered by commissions that certain casinos pay us, and this page lays out how those payments arise and why they stay outside the review process.

Who receives the commissions

Payments from casino partners are made to Windwardly Media Group B.V., Schottegatweg Oost 28, Willemstad, Curaçao, the publisher of the site.

How a tracked link works

Most casino buttons on our pages lead first to an address on casinoranks.org that begins with /go/; passing through it tells the casino the visit originated with us. Should you then open an account and fund it, that operator can owe Casino Ranks a fee under its partner programme — sometimes a single payment for each new depositing customer, sometimes a slice of the casino's net takings from that player over a longer period.

Your side of the deal stays the same: the bonus and the terms are exactly those the casino publishes, and nothing is added to your costs. Not every casino we write about is a partner, and plenty of our pages contain no tracked link whatsoever.

Keeping money and verdicts apart

No operator can pay for a review, a score or a higher slot in a list. Placement comes from the comparison explained on our about us page — Canadian banking, CAD play, bonus terms, payout speed and licence. When a partner tightens its wagering or slows its withdrawals, the review says so, commission or not.

We will not pretend the business side has no effect at all: it can shape which casinos get reviewed sooner. That is precisely why the arrangement is stated here in plain words.

What a link is not

A tracked link is neither personal advice nor proof that the casino may legally serve your province. In Ontario, online play is legal only with iGaming Ontario-registered operators, and bonus promotions are kept off the screens of Ontario residents. Look up the rules where you live before registering anywhere.

Who our partners are

Partners are online casinos and the affiliate programmes that manage them. Some are licensed in Ontario, others operate under licences issued outside Canada; each review names the licence the casino states. A partnership can end at any time, and when it does the casino stays on the site as long as the review remains useful.

Where tracked links appear

You will find tracked links in comparison tables, on the visit buttons of reviews and now and then inside a guide where a casino is named. Pages about land-based venues in Canada, payment methods and the rules of table games usually carry none. If a page has no casino link, nothing on it earns us money.

When the arrangement changes

Should the way Casino Ranks is financed change — a new type of partner, for instance — this page will be revised and the Updated line above will show when. Whatever is printed here today is what counts, and earlier wording no longer binds anyone.

What the redirect shares

The /go/ hop passes the casino nothing more than a reference naming Casino Ranks as the source of the visit. Names, email addresses and other details about you are never part of it. The cookies the redirect uses are described in our privacy policy.

Commissions never outrank safe play

Revenue from people who gamble beyond their means is revenue we would rather not have. Online casinos are for adults of legal age only: 19+, or 18+ for residents of Alberta, Manitoba and Québec. Anyone who needs to talk can phone ConnexOntario day or night: 1-866-531-2600.
